Before I crash out the last day of August from my calendar and prepare myself for a fresh new start of -Ber months, I made the most out of my rest day and started out my first solo travel in Olango Island.
I arrived at the island past 2 pm already so I was in doubt if I could take the last trip in going back to Mactan. So while I’m on my way to my first stop which is the Birds Sanctuary I passed through this white structured building and thought of staying there overnight in case I couldn’t make it to the port.
I was supposed to check out the public beaches around the island but due to time constraint I asked my guide to drop me over the white building instead. It is known as Casa Blanca by the sea.
Elegant as it is, what you see is what you get. If you’re looking for some private resort to stay in and relax I recommend Casa Blanca. Not just because of the beauty of the place but as well as the friendly people there. They offer day use and an overnight stay. Food from outside is allowed and they also offer some dishes per order.
As my guide dropped me off the resort. He told me that the last trip for the pump boat going back to Mactan is still at 7 pm so I decided to just take a day tour instead of staying there overnight.
People are very welcoming and guess what I’m the only guest who visited that day. So I had my exclusive time in the resort. (It really felt so great! It seems like I’m owning the place for a moment. HAHAHA)
So much of my talk. Just take a look on these snaps and enjoy as much as I did.
