Go out, take a walk, actively observe and be surprised.
Last week, we flew to Manila for the Vivo V5 Grand Launch. We had our 2 days and 1 night stay in the luxurious City of Dreams-Nobu Hotel. We arrived on Wednesday, but our time was fully occupied in preparation for the event so we weren’t able to explore more.
Everything unplanned, we sneaked in the nearby places the next morning instead. Within the proximity of our location, the National Shrine of our Mother of Perpetual Help in Baclaran is the nearest place to reach.
If I’m not mistaken, it was my 2nd time visiting Baclaran and the first was like a few years back.
Such a romantic gesture!
As we explore the place, we found a very interesting spot. The fence of a Grotto outside the church was filled with lovelocks. It is said to be a symbol declaring couple’s undying love and affection.
Honestly, one item on my bucket list is to attach a lock on a love bridge. As much as I wanted to put mine and crash this item out from my list, I didn’t. Simply because I wanted this thing to be meaningful and memorable. Since I haven’t found the one or my other half YET so I’ll leave that item up on my list till one day someone considers to do it for me. (YAY! Hopeless romatic switch-ON)
Who would have thought that a quick walk would be this interesting!
